This workshop will teach you how to use your camera and understand its functions, which are the keys to capturing photographs that will last a lifetime. If you have a camera, love to take pictures, and would like to understand all the tools it has to offer, or if you are unclear about the various functions and programs, F-stops, shutter speeds, when to use which settings, this one day workshop is for you.
We first will meet at a café in Beijing at 10:00 am. After knowing each others, we will start with explications of what is photography and how your camera works. Learn about the exposure triangle, the most important concept in photography. We will go thru the different terms and parts of the camera. We will not only clarify all the mysterious buttons and options on your camera, but when to use those different options. Right from the beginning, you will have your camera in hand and start manipulating it and understand how it works. We will then start to be creative and learn about shutter speed and aperture. How to use it and when.
Most of the workshop, we will be outside, in the streets and hutongs of Beijing doing some exercises so you can really understand your camera. I will spend time with each and everyone to answer specific questions or help you if you have problems understanding certain aspect of your photography. We will end the day with , yes a coffee or a beer, and have a discussion and conclusion of the day. Its gonna be fun.

What do you need?
Very important, you need charged batteries and empty memory card.
Good shoes (we are gonna walk a lot!!), hat and a smile!!
Time: 10:00 am to 5:00 PM (1 hour lunch -not included- together where we will continue the discussion on photography) .

Cancellation and refund policy
A deposit of 50% will be asked on your inscription. The remaining balance will be paid the day of the workshop. You are eligible for a full refund of the deposit if the cancellation is 1 week (7 days) before the workshop or else the deposit is no-refundable. But you can transfer the deposit to someone else or apply it to a future workshop.
Beijing Photography Workshops reserves the right to cancel the workshop anytime for any reasons. We will then give you a refund of your deposit or arrange an alternative date for the workshop. This workshop require a minimun of 2 peoples. If they are are not enough participants, we will then give you an refund of your deposit or arrange a alternative date for the workshop.
We are not responsible of your equipment or any accidents that might happen during the workshop.
